This book provides a comprehensive introduction to non-fungible tokens and their application within virtual worlds and digital real estate. It explains how NFTs enable verified digital ownership through blockchain technology and how these mechanisms are applied to virtual land, properties, and environments across emerging metaverse platforms. Core concepts such as fungible versus non-fungible assets, smart contracts, token standards, marketplaces, and digital scarcity are presented alongside an overview of how NFTs intersect with gaming, art, and virtual economies, with particular attention to blockchain-based real estate projects. The content is intended for beginners, general readers, and professionals who want to understand how NFTs and virtual worlds function without requiring prior technical expertise. The book adopts an explanatory and practical approach, combining conceptual foundations, historical context, and real-world case studies of prominent NFT platforms and virtual real estate initiatives, offering a structured overview of opportunities, limitations, and evolving use cases within blockchain-based digital environments.
