Dr. Mukesh Choudhary is a scientist at ICAR-Indian Institute of Maize Research, Ludhiana, India. He holds a BSc in agriculture from Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, an MSc in genetics from Indian Agriculture Research Institute, New Delhi and a PhD from the University of Western Australia. His research focuses on genetic improvement for productivity, quality, and climate resilience using genomics. He contributed to maize hybrids like Pusa Vivek QPM9 Improved, India's first provitamin-A-rich maize hybrid, and identified heat tolerance genes in wheat. He has successfully published over 50 research articles.
Dr. Pardeep Kumar is a scientist at ICAR-Indian Institute of Maize Research, Ludhiana, India. He earned his BSc in agriculture from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, MSc in genetics and plant breeding from Chandra Shekhar Azad University Of Agriculture & Technology, and PhD from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, India. He developed the CMS-based baby corn hybrid IBCH 402 and contributed to multiple maize hybrids. His research focuses on climate resilience using wild species of maize. He has over 25 research publications.
Dr. Bhupender Kumar is a senior scientist at ICAR-Indian Institute of Maize Research, Ludhiana, India. He earned his BSc in agriculture from Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya and MSc and PhD in genetics from Indian Agriculture Research Institute, New Delhi, India. He developed 12 maize hybrids, with six licensed to private companies. His research includes molecular studies on stress tolerance and quality traits in maize. He has published over 55 articles and received honors such as the NAAS Associateship.
Dr. Shankar Lal Jat is currently working as a senior scientist at ICAR-Indian Institute of Maize Research, India. He holds a BSc from Rajasthan Agricultural University, an MSc from Chandra Shekhar Azad University Of Agriculture & Technology, and a PhD from IARI, India. His research spans conservation agriculture, precision input management, and maize crop production. He has contributed to developing over three dozen maize hybrids. With more than 125 publications, he has received various awards including including NAAS Associateship.
Dr. P. Lakshmi Soujanya is a senior scientist at ICAR-Indian Institute of Maize Research. She earned her BSc, MSc, and PhD from Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University, India. Her work focuses on host-plant resistance, plant-insect interactions, and integrated pest management in maize. She has contributed to developing maize hybrids and published over 30 articles.
Dr. Hanuman Sahay Jat is the Director of ICAR-Indian Institute of Maize Research. He earned his BSc from Rajasthan Agricultural University and MSc and PhD from Indian Agriculture Research Institute, India. His career spans roles at CSWRI, ICAR-CSSRI, and CIMMYT, Mexico. If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
