This War of 1812 era document clearly details the names of officers, and the numbers of officers, musicians, and privates in each brigade of the first three divisions of the New York State Militia. There are also five soldiers' names, ranks and hometowns listed in manuscript in the right blank margin. The type at the bottom of the sheet describes how some of the brigades are composed. Measures 21" x 14 3/4". The top edge is jagged and has a small tear toward the right edge. There is light offsetting from a similar page and some creasing. Remnants on the recto indicate that the roster was previously bound in an album. Generally in excellent condition. Seller Inventory # AM00087
