About this Item

Nice fourth printing hardcover published 1932, the same year as the first edition, in brown, rust & cream plaid fabric covered boards with cream title box on cover and darkened spine. Spine ends bumped, tips fairly sharp. Remainder mark at foot of 179pp text that shows moderate foxing on some (not all) pages. Small bit of glue rems, little bit of red paper and two tiny stamps on rear pastedown. Not exlibrary. Illustrated with b/w photo plates on glossy paper, and many line drawings. Attractive book that displays well on the shelf for plaid or tartan book collectors.
