The second edition, corrected, and complete in 2 volumes. Engraved frontispiece plus 31 finely engraved copper-plates. Original 18th Century full leather bindings, with raised bands and gilt titles on spines, in good overall condition. Light wear to extremities. Slight cracking of hinges. Front hinge of vol 1 cracked through but still attached by the cord ties. Both texts in very good, tight condition, with light occasional age-browning. Old signature and bookseller's label on each front blank end paper. Pagination Title, Preface 388; Title 428, Index. Size approx 205 x 130mm. See photographs attached.
