For generations, the Ellis family has called the rolling hills of Kentucky home. Built from the dreams of pioneers Jamie and Chassie Ellis, their thriving homestead stands as a testament to love, faith, and perseverance.
But as the Civil War sweeps across the nation, the peaceful valley they cherish is no longer beyond the reach of conflict. Loyalties are tested, brothers choose opposing sides, and the bonds of family are stretched to their limits. Amid the uncertainty of war, young love blossoms as Bonner Ellis and Kaitlyn Monroe dream of a future together, determined to find hope in a world that seems to be falling apart.
Spanning generations, A New Tomorrow is a powerful story of family, sacrifice, romance, and the enduring strength of the human spirit. As history unfolds around them, the Ellis family must discover whether love and faith can guide them through the darkest of times—and toward a new tomorrow.
A heartwarming historical saga filled with unforgettable characters, deep family bonds, and the courage to begin again.
Evelyn Creekmore writes about Gen X by way of Knoxville (Go Vols), Charlotte (Queen City), New York (NY), St. Pete (Flip Flop Nation), and the ATL. If you want her, you can find her in the A. Sometimes.
