The foundation of the Christian faith is built on Jesus Christ and His Word to us, the Holy Bible. This Biblical Foundation Series includes elementary principles every Christian needs to help lay a strong spiritual foundation in his or her life. In this third book we look at another of the six foundational doctrines of the Christian faith found in Hebrews 6:1-2-the doctrine of baptisms: Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment (NKJ). This book covers four baptisms, including baptism in water (a sign of cleansing and remission of sin), baptism into the body of Christ (the Holy Spirit supernaturally places us into the body or the family of God), baptism of fire (facing suffering in our lives and persevering), and the baptism in the Holy Spirit (a new dimension of the Holy Spirit's power). Use this book to lay a solid foundation in your life, or if you are already a mature Christian, these books are great tools to assist you in discipling others. Each book can be used as a daily devotional and includes teaching outlines for each chapter. This book is also available n French, Portuguese, and Spanish Books in this series: 1.
