This is a large (11+ X 8 1/2 inch) hardcover in orange cloth with original red backstrip; with illustration of three children on bicycles on front cover. Many illustrations from drawings within. "Teacher's copy" written on second free (blank) endpaper in pen, a bit of rubbing wear to edges/corners of covers; occasionally the teacher has underlined one to three individual words on some pages, but not enough to present a distraction of much consequence to reader or teacher; tiny faded spot to color on front cover. Still, the book is clean, bright, and tighlty bound and Good+ to VG in overall condition. 319  pages.
