41 pp. 17.5 x 11 cm. Dora Mary Sigerson,1866-1918, was born in Dublin, and was one of the better of the many women writers who turned to Irish themes for their verse during the Literary Renaissance. She married the English critic Clement Shorter in 1895 and thereafter lived in London. She was intensley nationalistic and is said to have died of a broken heart following the execution of the1916 leaders. Green binding strip on green boards. A little shelfwear, a small stain on page 1, and a signature on the ffep, but overall in fair condition. Seller Inventory # 16823
