All four volumes (published). Volume 1, Number 1, February 1914 is a second edition. Volume 1 Numbers 2 (April 1914), 3 (August 1914) and 4 (December 1914, are all first editions in original grey printed wrappers. Quarto. Vol. 1, pp. 1-60, Vol. 2, pp. 61-108, Vol. 3, pp. 109-152, Vol. 4, pp. 153-203, index. Includes poetry by Wilfrid Wilson Gibson, Rupert Brooke, Lascelles Abercrombie and John Drinkwater. Printed by Crypt House Press, Gloucester, framed stamp to rear cover of each volume. Four volumes, each in Very Good condition: Vol.1 No.1- spotting to front panel, tear at spine margin, occasional light foxing. Vol.1 No.2 - light creasing to front panel and pages. Vol.1 No. 3 - no faults. Vol.1 No.4 - occasional light foxing. Contains the first appearance in print of the majority of the Rupert Brooke poems that were to appear in book form in '1914 and Other Poems' (1915), including 'Peace', 'The Great Lover', 'Heaven', and 'The Dead.' Also contains the first appearance in print of 'The Soldier', one of the most famous of all poems of the Great War, with its well-known opening lines:- "If I should die, think only this of me: / That there's some corner of a foreign field / That if forever England.".
