Paperback. Orthodoxy needs to be in the past. Dogma must come to at an end. The Great Awakening of mankind is upon us, and we are at the dawn of the finality of such things as manmade doctrine, hymnals and stale "501(c)(3)" church corporations that worry more about numbers than the expansion of the Good News. This book is unorthodox for an unorthodox time. It's time to rethink how we think. Referencing research in philosophy, history, cosmology and the written Word, this book seeks to free the reader from the religious and academician stronghold that has imprisoned our collective psyche for over a thousand years. Tyrone Steele approaches this task from a strictly biblical perspective, staying to true to the Word, as it was intended to be read and understood. The term, "Hesychasm" refers to an ancient meditative practice, focusing on all things GOD. The modern experience demands a more advanced method to ponder all things God. This maturation of our understanding of God, by necessity, must include releasing Him from the box we have insisted that He is in.The thesis of the book is that God is ultimately What/Who is in charge, and that our tiny "religions" can't justify any notion of understanding the true Creator. This book is explorative, theological, philosophical and somewhat scientific. Everything within this book was researched thoroughly and is referenced according to scholastic methods.
