- Childrens Fiction
The first interests of the child are centered in his own life or in lives which correspond closely to his own, and until he is well acquainted with his own surroundings, he is not ready to explore the world outside.
We have, in this book, taken the child in his own environment and dealt with the phases of child life in which he is interested. The plan of the book has been centered about the lives of five little playmates whose experiences are common to childhood in this age and country. Our object has been to show the child in his social relations.
