Paperback. We live in a culture that rewards men for what they can provide, rarely for who they are. From childhood, an unwritten script is handed down through generations: Be strong.Endure. Accumulate. Keep moving. Do not complain. In this piercing and fiercely honest collection of essays, Gautham Sitharthan picks up a mirror to examine the heavy, silent blueprint of modern masculinity. Moving far beyond the noise of online gender wars, Never Have I Ever as a Man ventures into the quiet spaces where society's contradictions breedin silence-from the corporate boardrooms where uncontrolled career growth behaves like a malignancy, to the family dinner tables where centuries-old traditions are maintained through unvoiced complicity. With razor-sharp critique and deep vulnerability, this book deconstructs the systemic traps of a hyper-commercialized world: the reduction of a man's worth to a transactional spreadsheet, the hidden anxieties of debt and domestic survival, the isolation of social stigmas like divorce, and the structural guilt of feeling fragile in the presence of a mother'sinfinite endurance. This is not a manifesto of grievance. It is a call for a quiet revolution. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.…
