Neuware - Beneath our feet, the Earth remembers. After the collapse of democracy, the U.S. resumes underground nuclear testing in the abandoned Lazarus Project shafts-deep enough to rouse something older than war. \*The Nether\*: a sentient nebula woven into the planet's pulse, guardian of forgotten wounds. When the detonations fracture its ancient slumber, the Nether's scream echoes through human synapses, erasing memories, twisting reality. Warheads malfunction. Shadows move without light. And sixteen-year-old Faith, marked by a childhood encounter with the Nether, hears it calling in her bones. \*Down!\* Haunted by shared nightmares, Faith and her adoptive parents, Runner and Mara, join a team of scarred engineers descending into the mantle. What they find is no monster-but a \*weeping\* neutron-star heart, a labyrinth of rusted warheads and fossilized choices, a being that \*remembers\* every fracture humanity has ever inflicted. As the Nether's grief rewrites DNA and collapses time, Faith must confront the truth: the Phenomenon isn't an attack. It's a plea. To break the cycle, she'll have to step into the core of a celestial wound-and decide whether we deserve to be remembered. A visceral fusion of cosmic horror and healing, \*The Nether\* pulses with the raw magnetism of unflinching prose, where every sentence thrums with the aftershocks of humanity's recursive violence. For readers of Jeff VanderMeer and Clive Barker, this is a tour de force-a story that doesn't just ask \*what if the Earth fought back \* but \*what if man was its infection \* The sequel to 'The Tangle.'.…
