Neuware - Every day, thousands of Americans don the uniform of the U.S. Coast Guard, serving this nation with honor, respect, and devotion to duty. Their commitment, like that of all military personnel, reflects the nation's highest ideals. Yet within the Coast Guard, that duty has been compromised by a culture that fails to prioritize the safety and well-being of its members. The institution has repeatedly failed to protect its people from sexual assault and harassment, fostering an environment marked by silencing, retaliation, and a lack of accountability. This book examines the Coast Guard's flawed policies and exposes systemic failures, including the mishandling of numerous sexual misconduct cases at the Academy and the subsequent suppression of investigative findings.
