The introduction of biotechnology as a subject discipline in colleges by various universities is such an initiation to bring the subject to the basic level and make the students aware of the subject, its techniques and its socio political and ethical considerations. This textbook covers all the fundamental aspects of Biotechnology. It has been written in a very simple manner .
About the Author: Dr. N. Elangovan is working as Assistant professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Periyar University. Totally 18 years of research experience in Biological Sciences and 7 years of teaching experience handling in Postgraduate, M.Phil. Students and He has published good number of articles .
