Do you know that safe and effective natural treatments exist for many of today's common health conditions? The most recent scientific research suggests that in addition to promoting better health, many herbs, vitamins, and supplements may be powerful weapons in the battle against specific diseases.
Inside, you'll learn how the therapeutic wonders of natural medicine can benefit you. This revised and expanded second edition includes 100 new chapters covering the latest scientific evidence on the effectiveness of the most popular herbs, vitamins, and supplements. Every statement has been rigorously reviewed for accuracy by a medical doctor and a professor of pharmacology. You'll learn what works for youand what doesn't.
Cross-referenced between conditions and treatments, this book includes:
·An A-Z guide to health conditions
·An A-Z guide to herbs, vitamins, and supplements
·Important dosage and safety information
·And much, much more!
Research in the field of natural medicine is growing exponentially. For this revised second edition of our best-selling The Natural Pharmacist: Natural Health Bible, we've added thousands of new studies. We've also translated over 100 non-English studies to report them accurately and scoured the research databases of the world to find older but meaningful studies that had been forgotten. This book is now based on a research database that includes over 3,500 full-text studies. We've added 50 new chapters to Part 1, Conditions, 49 new chapters to Part 2, Herbs and Supplements, and expanded and updated existing chapters. The Natural Health Bible, Revised 2nd Edition is truly the most comprehensive and up-to-date book on the science-based use of herbs and supplements.
Responsible and accurate, The Natural Pharmacist: Natural Health Bible is the source for information you and your loved ones can trust.

Store description
With 3 stores less than 1 hour outside the DC/Metropolitan area (1 in Gaithersburg, 1 in Frederick and 1 in Hagerstown, MD), we have the largest selection of books in the tri-state area. Wonder Book and Video has been in business since 1980 and online since 1997. We have over 1 Million books for sale on our website and another 1 Million books for sale in our 3 locations. Items on Abe are not necessarily in stock at our retail locations. Please do not call the stores to place orders for Abe Books sales. We have a very active online inventory and as such, we can receive multiple orders for the same item. We fill those orders on a first come first serve basis, but will refund promptly any items that are out of stock. Since 1980 it has always been about the books. ALL kinds of books from 95 cent children's paperbacks to five figure rare and collectibles. A merging of the old and new is where we started, and it is where we are today. Our retail stores have always been places where a reader can rush in looking for a title needed for a term paper that is due the next day, or where bibliophiles can get lost "in the stacks" for as long as they wish. In 2002 USAToday recognized us as "1 of 10 Great Old Bookstores", and we have been featured in numerous other newspaper and TV stories including Washington Post and CSpan. Members ABAA, ILAB.…
