"This Geography has been prepared along the lines recommended by the Committee of Fifteen in its recent report on Elementary Education. It is designed for a pupil's first text-book in the subject, and is intended for a two-years' course between the beginning of the third and the end of the fifth school year. It recognizes the fact that geography for schools should be a practical study of man's physical surroundings in their relations to him".(excerpt) Book is in good condition view its age. No missing pages. Spine is tight with no creases. Pages have yellowing and minor foxing. Neither of which affects readability. Minor smudges due to handling. Profusely illustrated.
