Printed Title Page follows. Text arranged in Double Columns with References in inner Margins. Copious Footnotes. XV/15 preliminary pages including Dr. Eadies Preface, followed by Family Register Pages ( Nankivell family of St. Agnes, Cornwall. Entries range from 1892 - 1938 including Henry Nankivell, killed in action. The Old Testament, 915 Pages. The New Testament has its own Title Page, opposite a Multilingual Page in Red Print, continues the Pagination to 1203. Last Section, individually paginated is a Chronological Index, Biblical Cyclopaedia, Psalms, Paraphrases & Hymns. 59 Pages. Handsome Period Black Full-Leather Binding with Ornate Brass Corners and Two ornate Brass Catches (in working order). Blind tooled decoration and a deeply inset central Cross for the Title on front, similar on back. 4 Raised Bands to spine, Dull Gilt Title in 2nd Compartment and blind-tooled Decoration filling the others. All Page Edges Gilt. 13" Tall. Some edge wear around spine. 2 small bits missing from fore margin of frontis and a closed tear in bottom margin.
