Add to basketThis new volume is a thought-provoking and comprehensive overview of the emerging field of nanopesticides. The book takes a unique perspective that focuses on the impact of nanopesticides on human welfare as well as on the environment, including their potential benefits over conventional pesticides, such as increased effectiveness, reduced environmental impact, and improved safety. The potential risks associated with nanopesticides, including their toxicity to non-target organisms and the potential for nanoparticles to accumulate in the environment, are also covered.
The book offers an environmental risk assessment of nanopesticides, exploring the use of nanopesticides on plants and for crop protection, and discussing the impact of nanopesticides in water resources and on soil microorganisms. The authors also examine using nanocarriers in phytoremediation methods. The configuration and preparation methods of nanopesticides is also addressed, and economical and market aspects of nanopesticides are covered as well.
