Je viens de lire Le Nain jaune de bout en bout pour la premi�re fois : depuis la mort de mon p�re, je n'y parvenais pas. Ce livre, ce miraculeux Nain jaune, je me le gardais comme une bonne bouteille que l'on met � vieillir au frais pour la boire en une grande occasion, histoire de f�ter des retrouvailles. Je ressors groggy. Je tremble, comme si sa soif de p�re me torturait � mon tour. Pourquoi faut-il que nous ne r�ussissions � nous parler d'amour que par-del� les tombes ? Il y a sans doute de la pudeur dans tout cela ; j'y vois surtout une immense infirmit�. Mais les grands livres ne sont-ils pas toujours des jambes de bois ? Alexandre Jardin.

Alexandre Jardin est n� en 1965. Le succ�s lui sourit t�t puisqu'il remporte le prix du Premier Roman, en 1986, � vingt et un ans, pour "Bille en t�te", en m�me temps que le dipl�me des Sciences Politiques de Paris. Son second roman, "Le Z�bre", est couronn� par le prix Femina en 1988. Alexandre Jardin est aussi dialoguiste de films et sc�nariste. Il vit � Paris. Il est co-fondateur de l'association "Lire et faire lire" et du programme "Mille mots". Il publie aujourd'hui, en m�me temps que "La R�volte des Colori�s", destin� au public jeunesse, l'ouvrage pour les adultes, "Les Colori�s".
