R. Lance Hill, Souvenir Press London. Edition: First British EditionCondition remarks:Book: Good Jacket: Worn/faded, no tearsPages: Good , price clippedMarkings: Previous ownerA raw, high-velocity thriller from the man who would go on to write the cult classic Road House. Before he became a legendary Hollywood screenwriter, R. Lance Hill made his mark with visceral, uncompromising fiction. Nails is a gritty exploration of the criminal underworld, written with the sharp, cinematic pacing that defines Hill's later work. It tells the story of a man pushed to the edge, navigating a landscape of violence, loyalty, and survival where every choice carries a heavy price. For fans of hardboiled noir and 1970s crime cinema, this Souvenir Press edition offers a fascinating look at the early career of an author who mastered the art of the tough-guy narrative. It's a lean, mean, and atmospheric read that hits as hard as its title suggests.
