Paperback. The Nag Hammadi Scriptures In 1945, a hidden library buried in the Egyptian desert reshaped our understanding of early Christianity. The Nag Hammadi Scriptures ancient texts excluded from the New Testament offer a fascinating glimpse into forgotten Christian movements, mystical teachings, and theological debates that once rivaled emerging orthodoxy. This book explores the historical discovery of these writings and examines what they reveal about Gnosticism, canon formation, and the diversity of early Christian belief. Why were these texts excluded? What did they teach about Jesus, salvation, and spiritual knowledge? And how do their ideas influence modern spirituality today? Blending accessible scholarship with thoughtful reflection, The Nag Hammadi Scriptures guides readers through the origins, theology, and contemporary relevance of these remarkable works. It invites seekers, students, and history enthusiasts to reconsider the roots of Christianity and rediscover voices long silenced. Insightful, balanced, and engaging, this book illuminates Christianity's hidden past and its enduring spiritual significance for modern readers. This item is printed on demand.
