Second edition. 8vo. Original blue cloth, lettered gilt to the spine with the Montefiore arms stamped in gilt to the upper cover. A bright, very near fine copy. Uncommonly fresh, with only very light traces of wear to the spine ends. Inscription to front pastedown. Folding table to rear. The private journal of Lady Judith Montefiore of her journey to Egypt and Palestine in 1838-9. Uncommon in such nice condition.
