About this Item
An enormous folding, linen backed, street map of London - approximately 110 x 25 inches, bound within cloth boards and titled as above on the upper board. Surveyed by Le Poer Trench at the Ordnance Survey Office in 1872, published by Sir Henry James in 1874 and printed with subsequent additions in 1882. Mainly central London but extending at the perimeters from Hanwell to Barking and Gunnersbury to Woolwich. The railways are marked in the map with a new extension of the M.S. & L. R added in blue and dated 1892. An enormous and informative London linen backed map. Seller Inventory # 6423
