Item description from seller

Matching three volume set: Folio, 15.6 in. x 10 in. Unpaginated. Illustrated with 151 full-page copper-engraved plates: Vol. 1: 35 plates; Vol. 2: 47 plates; Vol. 3: 69 plates. Seven folding plates. Plates in VG condition. Contemporary reversed calf with decorative dark brown frame stamped to front and back. Gilt title on black and olive green labels, and bandlines stamped in dark brown, to spine. Rubbing and light scuffing to extremities, with some loss of leather at corners. Spines and hinges tight. This copy is a "Premium variant" edition, with extra plates under "Anatomy" and "Naval Affairs". The "Anatomy" drawings are by F. Birnie, engraved by G.
