Question: What do you get when you combine an all-American hero, a gay adventurer, a grumpy physics professor and his sexy Russian wife, an exotic female assassin, a ruthless billionaire with a sadistic henchman, and a pug named Napoleon?
Answer: Neptune Island.
Lincoln Monk, ex-cop, left the rat race with a simple plan: travel the world, work along the way, and live the dream.
But life seldom goes according to plan.
Lincoln hasn’t been to the island in some time, and for good reason—he prefers to let old wounds heal. But when he receives an encrypted data drive just days after an old flame dies under mysterious circumstances, he feels compelled to return and find answers.
With help from a group of assorted oddballs and eccentrics, Lincoln’s investigation leads to mysterious Neptune Island and the compound of billionaire Jonathan Kane. Faced with deadly jungle and Kane’s army of mercenaries, can Lincoln discover the secret behind Neptune Island before Kane unleashes his devastating plan and changes the course of history?

Coas Books is family owned and operated, with two stores located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. We receive hundreds of books every day, so our inventory is constantly changing and full of hidden gems! Our History: Coas Books was founded in 1983 by archaeologist Pat Beckett. It started out as an archaeological publishing company specializing in anthropology books. As Pat's vast collection of books continued to grow, he purchased a local paperback exchange, and with that Coas Books was born. The name Coas has its roots in archaeology, coming from the Nahuatl term “coa” — meaning digging stick —, and the acronym for "Center of Anthropological Studies". Today, Coas Books is run and operated by Mike and Veronica Beckett as they continue to proudly serve the community in the heart of Las Cruces.…
