Synopsis:

N-person game theory analyzes contests in which there are more than two sets of conflicting interests, for example a hand of poker or wide-scale warfare. In this sequel to Two-Person Game Theory, the author introduces the necessary mathematical notation (mainly set theory), presents basic concepts, discusses a variety of models, and provides applications to social situations.

About the Author: Rapoport attended public schools in Chicago. He studied music in Chicago and later in Vienna, where he graduated from the State Academy of Music with a degree in composition, piano and conducting. He received his Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Chicago in 1941.
