Divorced parents are bad enough. But how should Joschka please explain to his friends that his mother is now a man - who suddenly grows a beard and who is called Frederik? While his sister Liska strives to deal openly with the change, Joschka feels nothing but resistance and great anger. He moves to his father and only wants distance from everything.
Only through the new classmate Sebastian, who suffers from a rare disease, and Joschka's love for the committed Emma, he finally opens up for his new family situation. Because if he is honest, nothing decisive has actually changed...
