I think of the topics as I am driving, sitting on my front porch, or just before going to sleep. Some are humorous, some thought provoking, and some sad-that's life.

About the Author
Dolores Knowles, seventy-eight, is a native Kansan. This is her fi rst book, which is a collection of columns she has written for a newspaper for three years. She worked in a hardware store for twenty six years, partnered in a costume shop, and has a bedand- breakfast in her home. She is an avid reader and is busy with church and community activities.
