A quiet teacher. A hidden past. A painting that knows more than it should...
Faye Unger enjoys the simple things: teaching math at Arlington Community School, sipping tea in her cozy cottage, and losing herself in her art. But when her latest paintings begin to mirror the haunting details of a long-forgotten local murder, her peaceful life takes an unexpected—and chilling—turn.
Don Ambrose, a kind but grieving fellow teacher, has spent years quietly searching for answers about his wife’s unsolved death. When Faye’s artwork reveals clues he’s never seen before, the two unlikely allies begin to piece together a mystery that’s been buried for decades.
As secrets begin to surface and danger edges closer to home, Faye and Don must rely on each other—and a bit of small-town wisdom—to uncover the truth. But someone is determined to keep the past hidden… no matter the cost.
Murder in the Masterpiece: A Teacher’s Deadly Lesson is a heart-pounding cozy mystery filled with endearing characters, artistic twists, and a dash of romance. If you love amateur sleuths, small-town secrets, and a touch of danger behind every door, you’ll love this page-turning whodunit.
Perfect for fans of Amanda Flower, Ashton Corners Book Club, and art-themed mysteries with a cozy flair.
