About the Authors

Arnab Chakrabarty is a Consultant at Process Systems Enterprise. Previously he has worked as a Process Technology Engineer at MEMC Electronic Materials and as a Project Consultant/Scientist, for Baker Engineering and Risk Consultants, Inc.

M. Sam Mannan†, PhD, PE, CSP, was a chemical engineering professor and director of the Mary Kay O’Connor Process Safety Center at Texas A&M University. He was an internationally recognized expert on process safety and risk assessment. His research interests included hazard assessment and risk analysis, flammable and toxic gas cloud dispersion modeling, inherently safer design, reactive chemicals and run�away reactions, aerosols, and abnormal situation management.

Tahir Cagin is a Professor at Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering, Texas A&M University.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
