The book has a slight amount of shelf wear. Muhammad and Jesus: A Comparison of the Prophets and Their Teachings by William E. Phipps. A scholar of religion and Presbyterian minister, Phipps sets the lives and teachings of Jesus and Muhammad side by side, comparing their backgrounds, their roles as prophets, their teachings on God, morality, family, women, violence, and the afterlife, and the ways their followers have remembered them. Written with fairness toward both traditions, it is an accessible introduction for readers interested in Christian-Muslim relations, comparative religion, the Qur'an and the Gospels, and interfaith dialogue. With notes. Condition: Very Good. The book has a slight amount of shelf wear.
