Quarter blue cloth over blue boards, gilt stamped titles and blind stamped decoration to spine, v. slight shelf wear to spine, v. slight split between cloth and board to back, corners worn and bumped and slightly cocked ow VG. Sepia adverts to eps, gift inscription including "March 1944" in ink to back of frontis. Full colour frontis, 19 other colour plates and 300 b/w illustrations throughout. 896pps.
