After trying to dump their next windfall in the stock market to loss it, they find that wall street doesn't always deliver on expectations. The Duchy of Grand Fenwick is a tiny fictional country about 3 by 5 miles long. The Duchy, ruled by Duchess Gloriana XII, is described as bordering Switzerland and France in the Alps. Wibberley's first novel in the "Mouse" series "The Mouse that Roared." received critical acclaim and was made into a film starring Peter Sellers, Jean Seberg and Leo McKern in 1959. Another Mouse novel "The Mouse on the Moon" was also made into a film in 1963. This novel is recommended reading for anyone interested in the monetary policy and/or the dangers of inflation and devaluation of paper currency. Although this story centers around the finances of a country, I found it very enlightening on how one may want to treat their own individual financial empire.
