[Mormon] The Rolling Stone Magazine: A Reprint of Numbers 3 and 4, Excerpts From "Priesthood and Church Government" The Standard L.D.S. Textbook By John A. Widtsoe And Critique of Them, Noel Pratt, Church of the Firstborn of the Fulness of Times, Galeana, Chihuahua, Mexico, circa 1957, 8.5 x 11 inches, 14 pp. Staple-bound zine; appears to be a facsimile reprint; fine condition. The Rolling Stone was a semi-official, monthly publication for circulating teachings of the Church of the Firstborn of the Fullness of Times, a polygamist offshoot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was mimeographed and edited by Noel B. Pratt, son of Parley Pratt, who was a first-generation leader of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. Noel B. Pratt left the Mormon Church and joined the Church of the Firstborn in 1955. He worked on The Rolling Stone starting in 1957, and included many of his own ideas in the publication, despite being told not to do so by Firstborn leaders. Pratt left in 1958 and founded the United Outcasts after his opinion of the First Born's founder, Joel LeBaron, soured. He then began publishing a similar religious zine called The Outcast. Scarce; as of March 2024, OCLC lists Brigham Young University as holding one copy. Seller Inventory # 1380
