Print on Demand. This book, a collection of marriage records from the 18th and 19th centuries, offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives and relationships of individuals living in New York’s Montgomery County. The marriages recorded here took place between 1795 and 1844 and include entries performed by ministers of the Reformed Dutch Churches of Middletown, Westerloo, Sprakers, and Canajoharie. The author meticulously transcribed these records from the diary of Rev. Elijah Herrick, providing a rich resource for genealogists and historians alike. The book is arranged chronologically, with each entry including the names of the bride and groom, the date of the marriage, and the name of the officiating minister. Researchers will appreciate the attention to detail and accuracy in these records, making them an invaluable tool for tracing family lineages. Beyond its genealogical value, this book also sheds light on the social and cultural norms of the time. It is a testament to the enduring power of love and commitment, and a reminder of the deep roots that connect us to our ancestors. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
