Taken from a map surveyed by Captain W J L Wharton RN and officers of HMS Sylvia in 1883. Drawing no. 2 is Montevideo Harbour proposed Graving Dock taken from an admiralty chart. Drawing 2a is a different location for the Graving Dock. Drawing no. 3 is similar to Drawing 2 but a bigger scale of the harbour. Drawing No.3a is similar to drawing 2a but a bigger scale of the harbour. Drawing 4 is general plan of outer harbour with details of boring. Drawing 5 is of the general plan and in sections.
