Includes a preface by Owen Wister and articles by Paul Cret, Edmund Gilchrest, Matlack Price, Arthur Meigs and George Howe. In scope and range the firm's work comprised public buildings and house in this country and war memorials in France and Belgium. An important work by this well known architectural firm, illustrating in detail thirty-four [34] country homes, mansions and gardens they designed, many in the Philadelphia area, others in the surrounding states. The illustrations include ornament, interiors, some with furnishings, exterior views, and very detailed plans and drawings. In Very Good shape for its size and weight.
