Set your child on a fun, magical adventure that makes understanding money as exciting as their favorite game!
Money might seem like something only grown-ups need to worry about, something too complicated for children to grasp.
But what if kids could start understanding it now…in a way that’s fun and magical?
What if the basics of critical life skills, such as earning, budgeting, and investing, could be as simple as playing a game or reading a bedtime story?
Studies show that kids who master money basics early are more likely to manage it well later in life.
But it’s not easy to make those lessons stick, especially when you’re competing with video games and cartoons for attention.
So how do you teach them without getting the dreaded eye-rolls and sighs?
That’s where Milo and Mia come in—twins who stumble upon a magical map and compass that lead them on incredible adventures, each one teaching an essential lesson about money.
From meeting a wise old coin king and being familiar with different types of money to planting seeds that grow into money trees, every chapter is packed with relatable stories that bring financial literacy to life.
Inside, you will discover:
- How different jobs can help earn money – show kids that everyone has unique skills that can be rewarding and enjoyable
- The excitement of saving up for something special – with magical piggy banks that glow as savings grow!
- Practical ways to budget like a pro – Buddy the Budget Bunny teaches kids to divide their money into needs, wants, and savings
- Simple explanations of investing – because money can grow over time, just like plants in a garden!
- The importance of good credit and how to build it, using relatable examples to show why paying back borrowed money matters
- The joy of giving and sharing – encourage kids to see how helping others can bring happiness and strengthen communities
- Reflection questions to help them think about how to apply the lessons in their lives – instill in them these valuable life skills as they read
And much more!
Worried this might be too complex for your child?
Every lesson is crafted into a story that’s simple and amusing, so it’s easy for kids to understand and relate to.
If you think this might be just another boring lecture disguised as a book, think again.
Each topic is an exciting adventure that keeps children engaged and excited to turn the next page.
It’s time to inspire your child to take action and to prepare for the future ahead.
