Item description from seller

8 volumes. Ex Glasgow Public Libraries. Grubby with usual labels and numerous stamps, all the plates are stamped presumably to deter borrowers from removing them in which they lamentably failed. Volume 1 has two plates missing, Volume 4 is in particularly poor condition with some tape and very grubby and stained around the edge of the pages, Volume 5 has a plate missing, Volume 6 has two plates missing and at least one page detached but present, Volume 7 has one plate missing and finally Volume 8 which has had all the plates removed and is in poorer condition than the other volumes. The covers are a bit grubby but otherwise not too bad. As you can see from the description these volumes are in dreadful condition but if you are in want of the information at a reasonable price and are prepared to do a bit of cleaning these are for you. They weigh over 10kg but I have taken this into account for the pricing in the UK and the postage will be as advertised on ABE. Overseas please ask for a quote but I expect the cost would be prohibitive - looking at today's postage it would start at £79 for Europe.…
