Paperback. Building embedded software today is no longer just about writing low-level code that "works." Modern firmware systems must be fast, deterministic, scalable, memory-efficient, secure, and maintainable under real production constraints. Yet many developers still rely on outdated techniques that make embedded systems harder to test, optimize, and expand. How do professional firmware engineers build reliable embedded systems using modern C++ without sacrificing performance or hardware-level control?Modern Embedded Systems Design with C++20 and C++23 provides the answer. This practical, engineering-focused guide shows you how to design production-ready embedded software using modern C++20 and C++23 techniques tailored specifically for constrained hardware environments. Instead of generic C++ theory or hobby-level microcontroller examples, this book focuses on real embedded architecture, deterministic programming, memory-conscious design, and professional firmware development workflows used in modern embedded systems engineering.Inside this book, you will learn how to: Apply C++20 and C++23 features effectively in embedded systemsBuild scalable firmware architectures with reusable hardware abstraction layersWrite deterministic, low-overhead, high-performance embedded codeUse compile-time programming and zero-cost abstractions safelyDesign interrupt-safe and RTOS-friendly embedded applicationsImplement robust communication systems using UART, SPI, I2C, and CANOptimize memory usage, binary size, runtime speed, and power efficiencyTest, debug, profile, and validate embedded software professionallyCreate CI/CD workflows and automated embedded development pipelinesDevelop production-ready firmware projects using modern engineering practicesThroughout the book, you will work with practical examples, real embedded workflows, architecture strategies, debugging techniques, and performance optimization methods designed for firmware engineers, IoT developers, robotics programmers, and embedded systems professionals.Whether you are modernizing legacy firmware, improving embedded software architecture, or building new systems from scratch, this book gives you the practical knowledge needed to create reliable, maintainable, and production-ready embedded software using modern C++.If you are ready to move beyond outdated embedded development practices and build high-performance firmware systems with confidence, this book belongs on your desk today.
