Store description

Flat & Bound presents rare posters and books, curated by Lars Müller. With Flat & Bound as a sales platform, i create the possibility to offer individual works from my collection of posters and books on art and design topics to an interested public at fair prices, and to give connoisseurs the opportunity to supplement and expand their own collections. Stored in my shelves and archive cabinets, analogue testimonies cannot develop their full effect. I acquired many posters and books out of passion or found them by chance in antiquarian bookshops and junk stores, others were exchanged with friends or were gifts, for example from the library of my mentor Josef Müller-Brockmann (1914-1996). It is the fate of most printed matter that it quickly loses its significance. Some are only revealed to the connoisseur and are invaluable to the enthusiast. Sometimes a signature or a dedication ennobles a work. I hope that my offer holds surprises and discoveries in store for you. If my initiative meets with interest, we will expand the offer and open the platform for selected offers from other collections and archives. Lars Müller
