This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Revision with unchanged content. The pervasiveness and criticality of software applications in modern times have resulted in the demand for highly customized, high quality products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Research in the area of Generative Software Development (GSD) aims to satisfy this demand. Model-Driven Software Product Lines (MDSPL) is a GSD approach to software development which allows developers to automatically build such products based on configuration knowledge and reusable assets. This book provides an introduction to the GSD approach and shows how it can be applied to model e-commerce systems; the intricate number of features and their interactions, as well as their applicability in the modern economy makes e-commerce systems the ideal domain for this study. The reader will gain a better understanding of the domain engineering process as we strive to define and build the reusable assets which can be used to create hundreds of variations of e-commerce systems. This book is intended for software researchers and practitioners who are interested in exploring and applying cutting-edge software engineering techniques, as well as readers who are interested in e-commerce systems in general. 172 pp. Englisch.…
