The digital transformation is accompanied by two simultaneous processes: digital humanities challenging the humanities, their theories, methodologies and disciplinary identities, and pushing computer science to get involved in new fields. About the Authors

Birgit Schneider ist Kultur- und Medienwissenschaftlerin und lehrt als Professorin für Wissenskulturen und mediale Umgebungen an der Universität Potsdam. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind Bilder und Wahrnehmungsweisen des Klimas zwischen Wissenschaft, Politik, Kunst und Medien, die Kommunikation des Klimawandels, Bilder der Ökologie sowie medien- und naturästhetische Fragen.

Beate Löffler forscht und lehrt an der TU Dortmund zur Geschichte und Theorie der Architektur.

Tino Mager is an assistant professor of the history and theory of architecture and urbanism at the University of Groningen. He studied media technology in Leipzig and art history and communication science in Berlin, Barcelona and Tokyo.

Carola Hein is a professor of the history of architecture and urban planning at Delft University of Technology. She studied architecture and urban planning in Hamburg and Brussels.
