"I am mixed with all kinds of goodies."

Jay and Nia are the children of two worlds, and as they'll discover, they can enjoy the best of both. From Mommy's jazz beats to Daddy's classical piano, we will dance with the twins through a book that explores what it is to be of mixed ancestry, proving that a child is more than the sum of their parents.

This book is the first in the I Am Book Series. Future books shall

help shed light on topics such as divorce and adoption, all from a child's perspective.

My heart is singing with glee after reading I am Mixed. I am especially happy for the many mixed race children, because they now have a book they can identify with. I wish this book was around when my kids were young. -- Nicole Weaver "blogcritics.org"

Children need more books like I Am Mixed to help them learn where they came from and embrace people of all races. I Am Mixed perfectly educates while it entertains, and should be in every library, classroom, and bedroom worldwide. -- Cameron Hathaway "Bleeding Cool"

This could be the perfect book for kids of any age. It could also be the perfect book for adults of any age. -- Susan Graham "Project RACE"
