Paperback. This book is mystery and grand chase, set in a misty fantasy world that has the omnipresent loom of the Centralist Empire. For the last forty years, the king has held the city-state of Mistwalk and its federation of towns and villages together. He kept the Centralist armies out, through military might and diplomatic skill alike, and he brought prosperity to the mountain societies. But now the king and queen are dead, and the heir is missing. A man worn by his own choices, and a young politician from a town that just earned its seat in parliament, will take up the hunt for the guilty. Whether they are prepared for it or not, they will hunt the killer, and they will find whoever schemed up the murder. This item is printed on demand.
