Traditionally an author of psychological murder mysteries, this book is a departure for Greenwood. In a plea for traditional morality, he explores the Cantlowe family's reactions to a visit from St. Francis. A "daring and cynical novel of the modern world's reaction to an old-fashioned miracle." 303 pages, endpapers tanned. Black cloth boards with gilt-decorated spine.
