"Despite all the emotions, it's a beautifully written story that will break your heart. But reading it is more than worth it." - Goodreads review (starred)
Fourteen-year-old Miracle Jenkins has a somewhat happy life: a brother she adores, a best friend who is like a sister, and loyal friends. But all of that is upsettingly shattered when her brother is tragically killed by the police. Amidst the escalating riots and protests, as she wrestles with her grief and anger, Miracle discovers a unique ability to time travel. But this gift comes with a heavy burden — she must explore the painful truths of the past and present to heal her broken community.
With a narrative that brims with heartfelt emotion and engaging storytelling, 'Miracle's Song' is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of hope. Rodney LaMarr's words echo a powerful message that even in the face of adversity, we can find our voice and stand up for what's right. 'Miracle's Song' is a beacon of courage, compassion, and the unwavering importance of fighting for justice.
