Meet Mira and her friend Indi, a creative little blue bird with a mind full of wonderful, fast-moving ideas. Every thought feels exciting but sometimes, those ideas come all at once, making it hard to organise them or bring them to life.
When Indi feels stuck in a whirlwind of thoughts, Mira and the Forest Friends gently guide her on a new kind of journey one that helps her understand that her busy mind isn’t a problem……it’s something to learn, shape, and celebrate.
Through simple, creative tools and the power of friendship, Indi begins to turn tangled thoughts into clear ideas—and discovers that thinking differently is not only okay… it’s a gift. Because every child is Wonderfully Made and their ideas have purpose.
Why families and educators love this book:
- Encourages creative confidence and self-belief
- Helps children understand divergent thinking and busy minds
- Introduces gentle tools to organise thoughts and reduce overwhelm
- Supports children with ADHD, neurodivergence, and imaginative thinking
- Strengths-based approach that celebrates creativity, originality, and curiosity
- Includes reflection and guidance for parents, teachers, and caregivers
A story with purpose: More than a story, this book invites children to see their ideas in a new way. It gently shows that having lots of thoughts can feel overwhelming—but with the right support, those ideas can become something meaningful, exciting, and real.
A message every child needs to hear:
“Your ideas are not too much.
Your thoughts are not wrong.
You are Wonderfully Made and your mind is full of possibility.”
